NAS 1 Kings 17:1 Now Elijah
the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the
LORD, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be
neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."
NAS 1 Kings 18:1
Now it came about after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah
in the third year, saying, "Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send
rain on the face of the earth."
The revivalist is firstly prophetic. What do I mean by prophetic? By being prophetic means that the revivalist is one who knows the times and seasons of God. Elijah was such a man. He knew when was the season of drought and he knew when it was time for God's revival fire to fall.
Revivalist are men and women who understand the times. When it is the season of sowing, they sow tears of intercession. When it is the season of reaping, they perform mighty acts for God.
In the Hebrides Revival, God shows an 84 year old almost blind lady a vision of revival. She had a prophetic posture knowing the season of God for Hebrides. She sowed tears of intercession for the land before the powerful out pouring of the Spirit.
Beloved, you who hungers for revival, do you also have a prophetic posture? Do you spend enough time in the prayer closet hearing the voice of the master? What is He saying about our generation? For me personally I sense that the season of drought will soon be lifted and there is going to be a mighty revival that will sweep across this nation. I sense that He is about to deliver a generation of youths from death and destruction. Beloved hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches.
