for everyone

Exodus 33
18 Then Moses said, "I pray Thee, show me Thy glory!"
19 And He said, "I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion."
20 But He said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!"
21 Then the LORD said, "Behold, there is a place by Me, and you shall stand there on the rock;
22 and it will come about, while My glory is passing by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.
23 "Then I will take My hand away and you shall see My back, but My face shall not be seen."

The quest for revival is not merely a quest for souls to be saved. Moses just saw a whole generation saved by the power of God.

The quest for revival is not merely a quest for miraculous signs and wonders. Moses saw miracles that far exceeded what most people have seen.

The quest for revival is not merely a quest to hear God's voice, for Moses spoke to God as a man to his friend.

Moses had seen and experienced all these things, yet there was a wanting in his heart. There remained an hunger and a dissatisfaction within the depths of his heart. It is a yearning for the Glory of God. Now God knew exactly what Moses was asking for. He knew that Moses was craving to see God face to face. Moses wanted to see the full revelation of God Himself.

The quest for revival is a quest for God 's glory. It is a quest for God to come and take residence in the midst of His people. When a human King enter his court, the trumpet will blow, and the people will bow and there is an atmosphere of honour and reverence to the king. In similar ways when God takes up residence amongst His people, there will be an atmosphere of awe, of honour, of reverence.

When the King takes up residence amongst His people, naturally things begin to happen, multitudes will be saved, indescribable miracles will take place, cancer will shrink, blind eyes popping open, dead rising, churches coming alive.

I have been a believer for 20 years. I have seen His power, I have experienced miracles, I have heard his voice, I had a taste of what revival is for a short span of time, but there is still a hunger deep within, a dissatisfaction within my heart that says there must be more than this. Lord please show me your glory, not just a glimpse of your glory, not just one touch of your presence, Lord I yearn for your habitation in my life, Lord I am just so hungry for you...so hungry that I can't describe with my human words...
