About Benjamin and Lillian Chew
Pastor Benjamin accepted Christ when he was 17. Due to his background of Taoism and Buddhism, he went through three months of deliverance ministry and many demons were cast out of him. He was set free from many demonic bondages in his life.
After experiencing a new found freedom in Christ, Benjamin surrendered his life to the Lord asking Him to use him as His servant . Soon after, Benjamin recieved God's call to preach the gospel. Convinced that his own family must first be saved, he started to pray fervently for his parent's salvation. Within a month his parents were saved. At the same time, he started preaching to his friends in school, holding evangelistic meetings in homes. During that period he saw his friends coming to Christ. In the following years, many of his relatives came to the Lord including his maternal grandmother.
In 1994, Benjamin got married to Lillian and they embarked on an adventure with God. That year they set off to East Malaysia to minister in the interior of Sabah. For three months they ministered to the churches in the villages and encountered the supernatural workings of God. It was there in Sabah, while seeking the Lord for directions that both Benjamin and Lillian felt that they needed formal theological training. They returned to Singapore and enrolled in Bethany School of Missions. After obtaining a certificate in Intercultural Studies, they furthered their studies in Theological Centre for Asia. In 1998 after graduating from bible school, Benjamin and Lillian pioneered a youth ministry which today is known as Revival Generation (Revival Centre Church)
Benjamin and Lillian believe that God is raising up a generation of youths who will bring revival fires to the end of the earth and his vision is to reach a lost generation, rescue the oppressed and to revive the church through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In May 2008, Benjamin stepped out from full time pastoral minstry to pursue the call of God in his life. Together with Liliian, He operates as an Itinerant Evangelist under the coverring of Cornerstone Community Church Singapore.
